We really love vintage Escada and one of their signature details is the high quality of their buttons! There are gold carriage engraved buttons on this jacket that give it an elevated feel.
The back of the blazer is cut to be full and that makes it looks more like a jacket, with a great box pleat and a back strap with a gold button. There is a lovely notched collar lapel and the cuffs each have 4 gold buttons. The black velvet fabric is cut slightly on the diagonal and there are slit pockets.
This fully lined blazer is 75% Pure New Wool and 25% Cashmere and it was made in Germany.
Labeled a size 38, but, because it was made to be worn oversized, it can fit a wider range of sizes. Please review the measurements for the best fit! We estimate this would best fit a modern day size medium.
CONDITION: Very Good - the price reflects that there is a very tiny bare spot and a few rubs to the fabric. The lining needs to be re-tacked in back.
